Dr. Sasan Haghighat (Hyatt) graduated from Veterinary School in 1995. He went on to take additional training in Germany before preparing for and passing his licensing exams in Ontario in 2003. He worked at the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) in Newmarket and the Veterinary Emergency Clinic (VEC) in Toronto. Having a strong family background in natural healing methods, he soon developed a new passion: the belief that healing starts from inside. Autumn’s love and passion for animals and their welfare led her to the Ontario College of Veterinary Medicine.
After graduation in 1977, she immediately started researching natural therapies such as nutrition, herbs, acupuncture, and homeopathy and applying them in her veterinary practice. Because of the excellent results she observed in her patients using natural treatment methods, she embarked on another course of study at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, from which she graduated as a Naturopathic Doctor in 1989. Sidonie (Sydney) joined our team in January 2019. She is a huge animal lover! There is nothing she enjoys more than spending her days helping to improve the lives of our patients, and always strives to provide a caring and comforting environment at the clinic.
Sidonie aspires to attend college, and become a Registered Veterinary Technician. She is dedicated to making every visit to our clinic a positive experience for the owners, and their furry family. She is working hard to accomplish her goal and attend school, and has achieved a certificate in Advanced Canine Nutrition presented by Dogs Naturally Magazine. More…
Bernadette
For as long as she can remember, Bernie has wanted to work in the field of veterinary medicine in order to make a difference in the lives of animals. She finds working with animals to be one of the most rewarding types of work and loves every minute of it.
A Newmarket native, Bernie got her start in the veterinary field during a high school co-op opportunity at an animal hospital. She excelled working at the clinic, with the animals and got a handful of experience in all aspects of the veterinary field—she even had the opportunity to scrub in and assist the head veterinarian on numerous surgical procedures. Sydney
Sydney is the newest member of our team and joined us in August 2020. She is a graduated Veterinary Technician from Seneca College and has specialized in Companion Animal Physical Rehabilitation from Northern College.
Sydney has worked with animals for almost 6 years now and has always known that working with animals was her passion in life. She became passionate about companion animal physical rehabilitation while working at a canine hydrotherapy facility during a co-op placement in high school.
