If you have a frenchie, you know they can sometimes come with a lot of health challenges. Blue was diagnosed with IVDD in September 2024. With medication and strict rest, I was able to manage it, and although she had a few flare-ups since then, they were always manageable.

Recently, everything changed. She completely lost mobility in her back legs and was unable to stand or walk on her own. I rushed her to the emergency vet, where they treated her the same way they had during previous flare-ups. But this time… she wasn’t getting better. She was getting worse.

When I brought her back, I was told she would need surgery and that if it wasn’t successful, I would have to consider euthanasia. As a pet parent, that is the last thing you ever want to hear.

After her first visit with Dr. H, she stood up on her own. She started walking, still wobbly, but it was a massive improvement. By our second visit, she was back to herself. Walking, standing, and with her spark back!

I am beyond grateful for Dr. H and his entire team. Thank you for giving my girl her life back!
